Gold Line Prediction — See the likely path gold has travelled through your target area — from source to trap

Gold Line Prediction models the likely transport path of gold through a drainage system — showing you where gold has come from and where it is most likely to have settled.

How it works

Using elevation data, drainage analysis, and geological information, DigMate models the transport corridor that gold would follow from its likely source (reef outcrop or high-country geology) through the drainage system to its likely trap zones. The result is a visual overlay showing the most probable gold transport path.

1. Select an area — Navigate to your target drainage system on the map.
2. Enable Gold Line — Toggle the Gold Line Prediction overlay from the layers panel.
3. Trace the corridor — The overlay shows the modelled transport path from source to trap zones.
4. Target the trap zones — Focus your prospecting on the trap zones at the end of the transport corridor — inside bends, slope breaks, and bedrock exposures.
