How it works

Lucky Spot runs a rapid terrain analysis of the area around your current GPS position. It evaluates slope breaks, drainage patterns, geological indicators, and proximity to historical workings to identify the single highest-potential spot within a practical walking distance.

1. Open DigMate in the field — Make sure your GPS is active and you are in your target area.
2. Tap Lucky Spot — The app analyses the terrain around your current position.
3. See your recommendation — DigMate highlights a specific spot with a brief explanation of why it was selected.
4. Walk to it and work it — Navigate to the recommended spot and start your session.
