Saved Pins — Mark spots, add notes, and build your personal map of productive ground

Saved Pins lets you mark any location on the map with a pin, add notes and categories, and build a personal map of spots worth revisiting.

How it works

Drop a pin on any location, add a note describing what you found or what the terrain looks like, and categorise it (dig spot, sample, hazard, camp, etc.). Your saved pins are stored in your account and visible on your personal map whenever you open DigMate.

1. Drop a pin — Long-press or tap the pin icon to place a pin at any location on the map.
2. Add a note — Describe what you found, what the terrain looks like, or why the spot is worth revisiting.
3. Choose a category — Categorise the pin — dig spot, sample, hazard, camp, or a custom label.
4. Save it — The pin is saved to your account and visible on your personal map.

Use it for

• Marking a productive bedrock crevice for a return visit
• Flagging a hazard (deep hole, unstable bank) for safety
• Building a pre-trip list of spots to investigate
• Sharing a location reference with a prospecting partner

Are my saved pins private?

Yes. Your saved pins are private by default. They are stored in your account and not visible to other users.

How many pins can I save?

Check the app for current limits on your plan. Most users can save a substantial number of pins.
